Highways Agency – M25 J30 Section 278 Scheme
At P6 Planning, we are immensely proud of our significant contribution to the Highways Agency’s M25 J30 Section 278 Scheme. This high-profile initiative, with consultancy fees amounting to £2 million, was designed to mitigate the increased traffic from the London Gateway Port development. Our responsibilities encompassed a wide array of tasks, starting with establishing and meticulously managing project controls through the Highways Agency’s Project Control Framework. We ensured rigorous oversight of health and safety during the design phase and expertly coordinated the protection and diversion of critical statutory utilities.
Our team also spearheaded the production of comprehensive tender documentation and served as interim PB Project Manager for three months during the tender finalization, contributing to the tender assessment panel. Following the contract award, we facilitated a seamless technical handover to the design-build contractor and played a crucial role in reviewing the final construction design. Additionally, our involvement extended to continuous project scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and progress monitoring.
This project highlights our dedication to delivering exceptional project management services and our ability to handle complex infrastructure projects with precision and innovation. At P6 Planning, we remain committed to excellence, ensuring successful outcomes for our clients.
