Construction Manager.

We are searching for excellent candidates that can use critical planning, delegation, and motivation skills to ensure that all projects are completed on time and under budget. The candidate must be highly motivated and have experience as a senior civil engineering construction manager and building construction experience as a construction manager and business owner.
The candidate must have previous experience working in Data Centers in European countries, including all underground services, fueling area attenuation tanks, the shell and core of the DC, generator building and pump rooms, and completing the landscaping package for handover.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the standards and requirements of the client are met.
- Maintain quality assurance methods.
- Employees should be given orientation in terms of business values and culture.
- Setting and enforcing standards for each job site, as well as making site inspections on a regular basis to ensure that contractors and crews adhere to correct safety measures.
- Reduce risk by resolving violations and potential risks and preparing incident reports in the event of an accident or injury.
- Plan and efficiently organize the site’s infrastructure and logistics, ensuring that all equipment is suitable for purpose and is only operated by adequately trained personnel.
- Ensure that workmanship and material standards are met in line with specifications, building codes, health and safety laws, and quality standards.
- Carry out all necessary training and development initiatives.
Competencies and Skills Required:
- The evaluation of project drawings and specifications in order to identify and resolve technical issues.
- An excellent record of managing Safety, Quality and Environmental issues.
- An excellent knowledge of civil engineering techniques and methods including the health and safety aspects, limitation and implications.
- Fully conversant with sustainable construction methods and practices.
- Planning, programming and resource allocation including the monitoring and reviewing of performance and results.
- Excellent communication at all levels and client management skills.
- Project management experience in a variety of disciplines including design and build management.
- Computer literate.
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering
- PMP course in Project Management
- Numerous in-house training and upskilling for various companies.
- Certificate temporary works coordinator Fluent in Norwegian language
